Pursuant to the principles of the Ministry of Tourism as well as the provincial authorities, the Sihanoukville Provincial Department of Tourism will organise the annual Tourism and Trade Fair, which will take place over five days from March 26 to 30, 2024, at Techo Square in Sangkat 4, Sihanoukville.

On the morning of March 25, 2024, a Krong Pali ceremony was held to wish good luck in the tourism and trade fair event with the participation of Mr. Mang Sineth, Deputy Governor and Director of the Provincial Department of Tourism, along with staff, government officials, and private sector companies.

Taing Socheth Krisna, the Director of Provincial Department of Tourism, also stated that the tourism and trade fair aims to encourage and attract tourists to visit Sihanoukville for a long time.

While the province has a lot of potential, we must organise events to attract tourists, tourists will return soon. Therefore, we need to promote investment to increase new tourism destinations, create opportunities, and benefit the people in the province.

The five-day tourism and trade fair features more than 50 VIP booths and more than 200 booths selling general products, local products, One Village-One products, and a variety of entertainment programmes, along with traditional Khmer dances to watch as well.
